Brown bin caddy liners
Brown bin caddy liners are now available at the Croxley Green Parish Council offices in Community Way. The liners come on a roll of 52 and cost £2.50 per roll.
Residents within the Three Rivers District Council (TRDC) area are provided with a small brown bin caddy for use in kitchens for easier recycling into their main external brown bin. Now you can get liners to go into the caddies.
There are many different types of caddy liners on the market and the composting site used by TRDC can only accept a certain type and the ones now available on sale are of this correct type.
Whilst it has been possible to wrap food waste up in newspaper for placing in either of the brown bins, not all residents do this which leads between collections to a build up of loose deteriorating food debris in the bins. Residents can continue to wrap waste food in newspaper but the use of a caddy liner may prove to be much more convenient and it would also help to keep your bins clean.
