Community Plan

Croxley Green Parish Council has, in partnership with the Croxley Green Residents Association, committed to developing a Community Plan.

Working with the residents, the Community Plan will set out the vision and priorities for Croxley Green. Residents can put forward their views via Parish Councillors and via the Residents Association but most importantly later in the year a questionnaire will be circulated to all residents seeking their views and opinions.

The Community Plan, when drawn up, will not be just a document that will sit on a shelf somewhere, it will be a working document with actions that will be updated as and when to reflect the community’s issues at the time.

The Plan is intended to promote community cohesion across the village and building good community relations to achieve a strong village, more resilient to negative external influences that may arise. The Plan and its Charter, which will be developed by a Steering Group, will commit the partnership to working to make Croxley Green a place where everyone can benefit from improved life opportunities and outcomes, where residents experience improved standards of living and where learning, cultural and leisure opportunities are enjoyed by all in safe and accessible environments.

The concept of the Plan was launched at the Croxley Green Revels, the traditional summer village fayre, which was held on the Village Green on Saturday 18 June.

As progress continues on the Plan, this area of our web site will keep you informed of progress.
